Pop and his girl

Early last week Aliza said she missed her Pop, so we had her call him to cheer her up.Well, three days later we were at the airport picking up Pop for a visit with his favorite three year old! They had such a great time!She got to spend alot of time with him while the boys were at school, playing in her room and reading books, she even got to take him to school with her! The bond they have is amazing, she loves all the attention and being doted on and she gives just as much as she gets. A really special relationship I feel priveleged to witness!

Our Family Camping Trip

Last weekend we went camping at Rocky Gap State Park in Western Maryland. We had a great time playing at the park, hiking the trails, listening to the woodland creatures and roasting marshmellows. It rained in the morning but cleared up nicely as the day went on. We went on a Pontoon Boat ride around Lake Habeeb, and Matilda was a hit with all the other campers and their dogs. The boys went on a scavenger hunt looking for yellow leaves, mushrooms, pine cones and such and had a great time doing it! Aliza loved running the trails and kept up very well with her brothers. Luke isn't too fond of sleeping out doors but he handled it like a trooper and made it out alive! Can't wait to go again!
