Sanj-Izaak
This past weekend Izaak went to a Memorial Day BBQ at a friends house. He wanted to do something to himself to make them laugh and this is what we came up with!

Needless to say he got quite the reaction and alot of laughs! I LOVE that my son isn't afraid to be silly! His confidance in himself is admirable...I'm such a proud crazy Momma!

The Stars at Night are Big and Bright....
I was in San Antonio, Texas for the past few days, visiting my girlfriends Kim and Tonya...Wholy FUN!!! We had a great time hanging out, making strangers into "friends", drinking, "Toobing" and laughing our asses off!
It was wonderful to see Tonya's baby girl, Acie! I hadn't met her yet, and Morgan and Colton have gotten sooo big! I had to give Morgan the run-down on her long lost love, Kaleb! We looked at some pictures and told her how much Kaleb still loves her, she was his first real friend. Colton is such a great boy, well, almost a guy, I was a little freaked out to hear his voice about three octaves deeper than I remember...why do they grow soooo fast???
Kim's boys, Canyen and Hunter were a blast! Canyen had a baseball game and I got to watch his team do some down home Texas butt-whoopin! I got to play on the giant trampoline with Canyen and we got in a great session of catch - the boy's got HEAT! Hunter and I read a book before bed time and had a couple good laughs about the Truck book!
It was awesome to see my Girls and their kids! Thanks so much to Mom and Dad coming to help Luke with my kids while I was away, I couldn't have escaped without your help! I'll miss my friends but I'm glad to be home...four days away seemed like eons! 'Till next time Texas!

A Gaffney Girl Weekend...
Adventures in Gardening...
This year the fruits of my labor are really showing nicely! I haven't been weeding as diligently as I should be but when I do get to it it's like meditation! I can just focus on the intruders and I feel sooo good once my task is complete! Above from left to right are; a "pincusion" flower, one of my many "haleborus", and a "Joseph's Coat" rose. In addition to these, my Rhodedendron bloomed for the first time this year, and I have a Peony bush that is almost ready to come into it's glory! Another treasure is my Clematis, that is climbing wildly up a trellis, I'll have to post pics of that later, maybe with the Peony... I just love my flowers!
