Photographs

I just want to show these off...I think they are really nice!

Eveyone knows I love Sky photos!

This is a velvet ant -which is really a wasp...creepy! I don't think I've got this pic on here already...

These are dinner plate dhalias at the arboretum...

The Chesapeake Bay...On a cloudy day...

King Neptune...aka...Tuna!

I have announced the addition of a feline on this blog earlier and now I would like to formaly introduce you to our kitty, King Neptune! He is aptly named due to his love of water...he'll curl up in Matilda's water dish, snoop around the shower, and do NOT leave a cup of water unsupervised...he will stick his whole cat head into the cup and tip it over!

His love of water makes the fish bowl...whom I've never introduced on the blog before..we'll save that for another time...with the frog and hermit crab! He hasn't bothered the fish, but I think he takes drinks out of the bowl! Matilda and Tuna have quite the loving relationship! They share Matilda's water bowl and will drink at the same time! It's really precious! Matilda loves to get a toy and lure Tuna to chase her with it and then they will have a romp festival in which Matilda morphs into a Wookie and mouths the cat until it's soaked in dog drool! Izaak has really taken to Tuna and gives him all the love of an attentive pet owner! He's very quick to change cat potty and fast to refil that bowl -and this cat eats ALOT! He's going to be a big fat male! And this is our King Neptune after a long kitty day of eating and playing! We've come to realize he's quite the hunter too, as he tears up the sprickets that try to seek refuge in the house! Yeah, I said Spricket! It's like a cricket and a spider had a baby...quite possibly the most nasty bug in the US! Get 'em Tuna!

What a Sassy Chic!

I put these "ponies" in Aliza's hair and she did NOT like them! Even after both her brothers told he she was super cute she still hated them! Of course by this time in the morning it was too late to change...so I tried to get a smile out of her...
What a pouty Chic!

Oooooh! I see that smile!

There we are! What a happy girl! And then she remembered she hated her "ponies". Back to being Princess Pouts-Alot!

Play Time in Mommas Bed!

We were feeling sassy and silly and this is what came of it! Aliza loves having "girl time" with me and we'll just hang out and be goofy. Nothing special needs to happen but she will make it clear that there are "NO Boys Allowed!"
After this session she walked around the house and documented everything we have...I probably should have saved them for insurance purposes! We love having cross eyes! She thinks I'm a cross-eyed master! I've had a lot of years to master the art pretty girl!Eskimo Love!5 is a really cool age for Aliza! If only 6 would take it's time...and 7 and 8....woe is me!

LondonTowne, MD

We were bored to death this weekend and had a hankering for some nature! So off we went to a new park on the South River...pretty nice!
A pretty stairway I couldn't resist taking a picture of! You know how I get... Stairway to Heaven anyone???Yes! We still have flowers blooming in Maryland in mid-November! And my Sassy Chic couldn't resist a sniff! We could never leave Matilda when going to such a place! Notice her paw is up...she's listening for....what else...SQUIRRELS!Luke and I at the shore, it seems the only time I can get a picture of the two of us together is at my arms reach! Better than nothing! I really love this man!

Halloween 2008

This Halloween was more low key than last year but still a great time! Aliza was a kitty cat, Kaleb the grim reaper and Izaak was a loon from an insane asylum! We allowed Izaak to go Trick-or-Treating in his friends neighborhood and we took Aliza and Kaleb to their friends neighborhood and walked around with then there.
Before Halloween the elementary school Kaleb and Aliza go to had a Fall Ball. We dressed up and had a good time watching all the kids dance to Hannah Montana music and the costumes were wonderful! Some of these parents are very creative!Aliza wondered why SpongeBob was so sad...Kaleb and his buddy had a grand time checking out all the costumes! And here is my chicken...I mean Kitty!
