Kooza

Cirque Du Soliel's newest show, Kooza, was Izaak's birthday wish and last night he got it! Last night was the premier in Baltimore at the Raven's Stadium and Izaak, Eema and myslef were there to experience it! Izaak and I had gotten two tix, one courtesy of Pop, for his birthday and at the last minute I realized we could not see this without Eema, so I managed to find her a great seat also! We took the Lightrail into B'more and after a short, brisk walk, the magic began!

It was an intimate setting for a circus, and it was so powerful! Everything from the lighting to the facial expressions on the clowns was wonderous. We all enjoyed it greatly and have a new found appreciation for athleticism beyond the NFL. The controtionists - above - were breathtaking! The movements of their bodies were so fluid and precise, years of Yoga I presume. Another amazing feet was the Death Wheel, I can't even explain it, you'd have to google it to get an idea. The energy and creativity of this performance is just electric. I had wanted to see this circus since I was 8 but never would have made it happen for myself - thanks for sharring your wonderful birthday with us Izaak! I'll never forget my night of magic!
